Swetka Wins Lake Lansing Laser Regatta

August 20, 2011. Ken Swetka of St. Clair Shores finished the day with three straight bullets to win the thirty four boat Lake Lansing Laser Regatta. Olav Messerschmidt of the Lansing Sailing Club had consistently high finishes of 6-5-4-3-4 to finish second. Jim Meyer of Pinckney was third.

Other local sailors finishing in the top ten were Doug Carlson (5th), Mike Moody (6th) and Susanna Tellshow (9th).
