Hoort Has "Best Race"

Brian Hoort was excited about his Laser Racing, explaining to sailors gathering at Spagnoula's afterward "I had my best race of the season".

It looks like a record fifteen Laser sailors will qualify for awards this year with fourteen already having the requisite number of races sailed and one more committed to getting there next week.

Doug Carlson again had the hot hand in Wednesday racing, posting three aces and a second. Others with top three finishes included Mike Moody (4-3-3-1), Brad Kleihege (2-5-2-6), and Olav Messerschmidt (3-2-4-3).

There are still opportunities for many sailors to improve their standings as we come down to the final evening of Wednesday racing - and those opportunities are increased with more boats at the line. So, come on out and sail.
