Wayfarer 1193 Moving to Chicago Suburbs

September 26, 2011. This Thursday, Dick and Judy Stage will be moving to   Huntley, Illinois  in the North West suburbs of Chicago.

They joined the Lansing Sailing Club a year ago as Associate Members to participate in the adult learn to sail classes last fall were great. "I so enjoyed sailing that I became inspired to buy a wayfarer project boat last fall on the recomendation of Jim Fletcher," said Dick. "I spent many hours refurbishing the boat during the winter months and in the spring joined the Lansing Sailing Club as a regular member.

"I want to thank everyone at the Club for helping me with sailing lessons. Judy and I enjoyed many hours of day sailing this summer on Lake Lansing.  And now, we are looking forward to sailing our Wayfarer on the lakes of the North West Chicago suburbs in the spring." 

We wish the Stages good sailing in their new home.
