Thanks for Doug Carlson and Chris Strugar-Fritsch for the pictures

Neil Harrison, John Quensen and Alanna Harvey were back together again today. Here they are initiating a tack.

Larry Koster took Jim and Maribeth Fletcher aboard "Shibumi" for the day.

Here the "Moody's Booty" crew checks the line and wind direction near the Committee Boat and the sequence counts town inside four minutes. Jamie Rasmussen is in the front of the boat, Steve Zaira in the middle and Mike Moody at the helm.

Merrick Hurlbutt in 14746 with Adrianne Tuttle and Scott Watkins sailed well - challenging for the lead in each race. Here they have "Moody's Booty" pinned just after rounding the leeward mark. Now, can they live in the bad air?

Moody tries to pull out from underneath the pin by Hurlbutt - and leads all boats back to windward. By the windward mark, "Wind Dancer", shown in the background with the nearest spinnaker, had pulled into the lead. Moody sailed better downwind however and eventually won.

Larry Koster, Jim Fletcher and Maribeth Fletcher reach in the startjing area - ready for the next race.

Wind Dancer got a late start in the last race - but fought back, eventually crossing the leader on the final leg. The lead was short lived however as the boat stopped in the middle of covering tacks and Moody went on to win.

"Unidentified Flying Pigasus" is shown here getting readyto take the pole down and douse the spinnaker as they cross the finish line. Julie Pierce is doing the pole work, Tom Deits is trimming the kite and Blaine Severin is driving.

Wind Dancer rounds the leeward mark, heading upwind and trying to catch the leaders.
