Neil Harrison, Gary Marx and Alanna Harvey had some excitement on the water - flying their spinnaker when others ad left them in the bag. A third place finish in race two found them OCS - but they were at the front of the fleet and decided to sail on, seeing little difference in score between a last place finish and OCS. Sailing on at least at least gave them some excitement at the top of the hill.

Here is the Harrison crew dousing the spinnaker after posting their third place result that will nevertheless be recorded OCS.

Merrick Hurlbutt sailed with Adrianne Tuttle and Scott Watkins. The first two races resulted in third place finishes. Then, in the last race of the day, they survived a tacking duel to win a hard fought battle.

Merrick and crew have now posted wins on both of the last two Sundays.

Bob Miller and Greg Mills enjoy some liquid refreshment after racing with skipper John LeFevre.

Here "Sail Fevre" is off to a fast start.

These three guys have a combined age that takes a good sized abacus to calculate - but they continue to show the younger sailers how it's done while having a good time.

Walter DeGruyter, Tom Rasmussen and Larry Koster share a "cold one" after racing.

Jennifer McKervey came out to sail Lake Lansing for the first time last week - and ended up being drafted for a spot on the "Moody's Booty" crew Sunday. Teaming with Jamie Rasmussen and Mike Moody, they got off to a fast start and never looked back as the posted a win in race one.

Spinnaker work was key on this day. Here "Moody's Booty" gets ready to douse the spinnaker in race two.

"Wind Dancer" had the most consistent day, finishing 2-1-2. Here the team is checking the course in preparation for a race - looking for where the wind seems to be on the course.

Susanna Tellschow sailed in the front of the boat, Gil Chesbro was in the middle and Pat Dolan drove.
