| Three Different Boats Win Sunday |
Jennifer McKervey (l) joined Jamie Rasmussen and Mike Moody to win in her very first race |
There was a nice breeze all afternoon for LSC Lightning Fleet racing Sunday - and seven boats came out to enjoy the day. For a picture story, go to the LSC web site at www.lansingsailing.org.
Jennifer McKervey sailed in her first race on Lake Lansing as a member of the "Moody's Booty" crew along with Jamie Rasmussen and Mike Moody - and they won race one. The "Booty" racked up a second and third in the other two races. In race two, it was the "Wind Dancer" Team finishing first. Susanna Tellschow, Gil Chesbro and Pat Dolan were aboard, and added two second place finishes for a solid day of racing.
Merrick Hurlbutt continues on his hot streak. With Adrianne Tuttle and Scott Watkins crewing, he ran off two third place finishes - then topped the day off with a win in race three. This is Merrick's second win in as many Sundays.

Pine Lake Traditional Small Craft Association Outing Shows Off Boats |
Boats being admired at the outing |
Last Saturday was the Pine Lake Traditional Small Craft Association Outing at the Lansing Sailing Club.
Members brought boats they had made and showed off their craftsmanship to a steady stream of LSC members, general public and other Association members.
The boats were truly beautiful.
Several Lansing Sailing Club members are also members of the Association. Anyone interested in the Association should contact LSC members Sandy Bryson or Gil Chesbro. |
